Budget Analyst with Security Clearance

Dutieso As a Budget Analyst you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list:
o Responsible for providing technical advice and guidance to other analysts and managers engaged in the execution of the mission.
o Assures funding is accepted and properly used in accordance with governing statutes (e.
gpurpose, time, and amount statutes), Comptroller General Decisions, precedents, regulations, and business processes.
o Develops local budget policy, procedures, budget formulation assumptions, formats and schedules for development of various budget submissions and obligation and expenditure plans.
o Prepares a variety of reports covering status of funds, expenses, and obligations as required by higher headquarters or program managers.
o Investigates and resolves or recommends solutions to budgetary/accounting problems in connection with the financial management of a complex program involving a very large number of appropriations, funding mechanisms, and customersRequirements Conditions of Employmento Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigationMust be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

Experience:
One year equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service analyzing and developing resolutions to budgetary problems, such as recommending alternative funding methods; formulating budget estimates for programs; and developing budget guidance to be followed by budget/resource personnelYou will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
