Develop individualized treatment plans based on psychiatric diagnosis, identified problems, and treatment needs for each caseUtilize social work systems and psychological theories, principals, and techniques in treatment plan developmentWork with highly complex cases in which individuals are severely impacted by moderate to severe psychiatric diagnoses to include factors such as history of trauma, co-occurring conditions, and suicideProvide individual and group clinical counseling services using various evidenced based modalities as clinically indicated for adultsCollect bio-psycho-social information about patients using interview, case history, and observation techniques, and assessment methods PERFORMS OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNEDQualifications Who May Apply:

Degree:
Master's degree (or higher degree) in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

Experience required:
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this jobSpecialized experience is defined as:
conducting bio-psychosocial evaluations on patients, providing individual or group counseling to patients, and developing treatment plans for patients.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
